HUNT #OI-SAC1
Alaska Sea Duck Adventure
If you want to experience Alaska and amazing duck hunting at the same time, this is the trip for you.
We have 17 different species potentially available and birds are plentiful. Stay in a warm, cozy cabin near the lake with Mountain views like nowhere else. Hunt with an experienced boat captain and dedicated guides over decoys from natural blinds along the water’s edge. Both sea ducks and puddle ducks will be taken with generous limits daily. Three and five day packages are available for groups of 2 to 6 people. A vehicle is also available for spouses or observers to see local attractions that include glaciers, shopping and scenic mountain drives.
You will meet the captain and guide(s) at the dock early each morning for donuts and coffee. After a 30-60 minute ride in their high speed jet vessel F/V Second Wind, you will set decoys and pass shoot using natural cover along the shore. After filling your daily limit there may be time to do a little fishing, whale-watching or sight-seeing. You will back to the dock before dark to take care of birds and head to the cabin or a local restaurant for dinner and relaxing on your own so you can do it all over again the next day.
