Premier Mexico Fishing Charter

Fully guided fishing into either the Sea of Cortez or up the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula depending on season, with options for 1/2-day and full-day charters. You’re welcome to keep your catch or release it.

After fishing, you will return to the marina and by request, have your catch processed, packaged and frozen to take home. There is an extra fee for this service, but it’s very affordable.

PRO TIP: Taking some of the days catch to a local restaurant is highly recommended! La Chatita and Tiki Bar for yellowfin tuna sushi are our favorites!

  • This charter is based in the marina of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and they have multiple boats to choose from to accommodate comfort and the size of your group.
  • Offshore fishing is available year-round, and there is a chance to catch Blue and Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi-mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Wahoo and Yellowfin Tuna.
  • Inshore fishing is seasonal with opportunities for Spanish Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Giant Needlefish, multiple species of Grouper, Yellowtail, Red and Cubera Snapper as well as world-class Roosterfish during the summer months.

The Experience

Though each one of our guests have specific needs and requests, below is an example of a typical experience.

Meet with your Captain at a designated location in the Marina at an early hour, typically 6-7 AM.

There are options to buy drinks, food and snacks in the marina as no food or alcohol is provided. *We recommend getting breakfast at the taco truck near the meeting location.

If you’re prone to seasickness or motion sickness, be sure to take some medication prior to getting on the boat.

Your Captain will then escort you to the boat, board and then head out for the days fishing. There are restroom facilities on all boats, as well as shelter from the elements.

There will be one Captain to navigate the boat and a First Mate to run the fishing gear and accommodate any of your needs. For larger boats, there could possibly also be a Second Mate.

After returning to the Marina, you’ll tip the crew. There are some processing options for an extra fee, or you can either process your own fish, or donate them to the crew.
