Lodging and Accommodations
Our camps can range from comfortable cabins, wall tents, arctic oven tents, and even backpacking tents on some occasions. We strive to hunt the most productive areas each season and provide the adventure you are looking for!
Travel Information
You will fly into Fairbanks, Alaska. If your trip calls for an overnight in Fairbanks we recommend staying at Pike’s Waterfront Lodge (877)-774-2400.
We recommend renting a car in Fairbanks and driving directly to our lodge in Wiseman, Alaska. It is about a 5 hour drive from Fairbanks. Driving will give you the most flexibility in your trip.
A few companies renting vehicles for the Dalton Highway (Haul Road) are: Arctic Outfitters (907) 474-3530, Uhaul (907) 459-0374, and Go North (866) 236-7272.
If you don’t want to rent a vehicle in Fairbanks you can fly to Coldfoot on Wright Air (907) 474-0502 or Northern Alaska Tour Company (907) 474-8600. If you choose to fly, we will pick you up in Coldfoot and drive 30 minutes to our Lodge in Wiseman, Alaska.
Moose are very large animals, so for hunters wishing to take meat, antlers, or capes home, we recommend driving.
Alaska Trophy Express is a company based in Fairbanks that will deliver your meat, cape, and horns to the lower 48. They have a list of delivery cities on their website www.alaskatrophyexpress.com. They have been a great option for many of our hunters but require you to register with a deposit to reserve a spot prior to the season.
If you choose to fly to Coldfoot you will be limited to taking about 50-100 lbs of meat, and we will donate the remainder of the meat and deliver your cape and horns to The Wildlife Gallery, an expediter in Wasilla, Alaska.
