Alaska Dall sheep hunting in the Alaska Range
This Alaska Dall sheep hunting experience is truly unforgettable, offering both an incredible challenge and the opportunity to take home an impressive trophy from one of North America’s wildest frontiers.
Hunters begin with a scenic air charter into a remote mountain landing strip, followed by a Super Cub flight to the base camp, where breathtaking views and pristine wilderness await. Guided by seasoned experts, this foot-based hunt covers vast, rugged terrain over 10- to 14-day trips, ensuring a new experience daily with no ground repeated. Carrying essential gear for multi-day spike camps, hunters are encouraged to prepare physically for the challenging landscape and high-altitude conditions.
For hunters seeking multi-species options, this hunt offers the chance to add caribou, grizzly, or wolverine tags, as well as wolves for tag cost only, with grizzly and wolverine seasons opening September 1. With a focus on ethical, clean shots, hunters should be confident at shooting distances up to 300 yards.
