Free Range, Fair Chase Hunting in Hawaii

All the guides from your hunt have hunted the islands all of their lives which makes them especially good at tracking and finding these animals. The believe strongly in the idea of “Ahona” or family! The treat you like family the minute you talk with them to the moment you leave. Guiding for this hunt does vary as the accommodate large groups and individuals. If you would like to bring family this is a great hunt to do that on.

If you want the thrill of chasing some of the famous axis deer and blackbuck, this hunt Molokai is what you’re looking for. If you desire to harvest a Spanish goat, Hawaiian ibex, Black Hawaiian sheep, mouflon, Vancouver bulls or wild boar, then you will look to the Big Island.

  • Standard Trophy Axis Packages are for one buck and one doe.
  • Hunting Season is mid-April through October (Axis deer rut is the last three weeks of May through the first week of June).
  • All meat is shipped to your home after the hunt.
  • Rifle and Archery Hunts are Available.

Hunting on the Island of Molokai, Hawaii

With an extremely dense population of Axis deer on the island of Molokai your experienced guides will help you get the animal you desire.

Hawaii’s beautiful landscape proves to be an exciting hunt and is not extremely difficult. These beautiful deer are completely free ranging, and are incredibly “switched on”. They’re like hunting whitetail deer on crack! Axis deer hunts have been described as a triple threat; they can see from far, they can smell from far, and because their numbers are so high they have eyes everywhere. Don’t worry though, when you’re axis deer hunting in Hawaii, you’ll be hunting with guides have been hunting these axis deer their whole lives and are experts at the game. If you have ever wanted to hunt axis deer in Hawaii, then this is your hunt!

Blackbuck were introduced to Molokai Island in the 1970’s and run free range on the western half of the island.

On Molokai, also you can find black buck antelope to hunt on nearly 20,000 acres of private land. Strangely, blackbuck are most active during the heat of the day, so hunting them over water holes after your morning hunt for axis deer is a great way to go.

Lodging and Accommodations

  • You will have your choice between two separate beautiful private condos. One will accommodate six people, the other can house four.
  • Private chef to prepare all meals at your lodging.

Travel Information

  • Arrival and departure will depend on the hunt you choose. However the closest airport to the ranch is Molokai Airport, Kualapuu, HI (MKK)
  • Hunters need to arrange transportation to Honolulu, Oahu or Kahului, Maui airport, and the outfitter will take care of the Island Hopper flights from there.
  • Transportation during the trip is different for each hunt, however expect to hunt on foot as well as ATV.
