British Columbia Spring Spot-and-Stalk Black Bear Hunt

This lodge-based hunt is a great choice if you’re looking for a great spot-and-stalk black bear hunt.

This area of British Columbia is the perfect choice for spectacular spot-and-stalk black bear hunt. There are so many bears that mature boars are dying of old age and range in size from 5 to 7 1/2 feet.

Spring hunts start in mid-May and run through the beginning of June when the temperature is between the mid 60’s and mid 70’s. The fall hunt runs from mid-September to the end of October when the mornings will be frosty; when the weather gets cold the bears are gone. In the fall you can combo with moose. A wolf can be added on a trophy fee basis.

The success rate for this British Columbia hunt 100% to date.

  • This is a spot and stalk hunt from 4×4’s, boats and/or horses.
  • Typical day you should see between 2 to 10 bears. Driving to glassing points. New growth areas and grassy hillsides.
