Mountain Goat, Brown Bear and Sitka Blacktail Deer Hunts on Kodiak Island
Kodiak Island is home to legendary giant bears, Sitka blacktail deer, mountain goats, abundant waterfowl and exceptional marine life.
These hunts will be conducted in a legendary exclusive concession on the South end of Kodiak Island first held by “Frenchie” Lamoureux. Our outfitter was awarded this Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge concession through a competitive prospectus process in the fall of 2022 and will hold the permit starting in 2024. Even this concession is new to him, it is very familiar because his entire crew guided for the previous outfitter.
Lodging for these hunts will be in cabins. These will provide a warm, dry base camp, but some hunts require spike camps.
