Picture this: you’re in Entre Rios, Argentina, where the sky seems to ripple with the wings of over 20 million doves. It’s a bird hunter’s paradise, where you can expect to shoot anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000 doves in a single day. That’s not just a number; it’s an experience you feel in your bones. The best time to be here is March through September, when the action is at its peak. But it’s not just about the doves. If you’re into variety, the mixed bag hunt offers ducks and perdiz behind skilled pointing dogs. And if fishing’s your thing, the Golden Dorado in these waters are legendary. The lodges are top-notch, offering a slice of comfort after a day in the wild, with local game and Asado on the menu to keep you fueled. It’s the kind of trip where you wake up with a sense of purpose, and each day ends with stories to tell.

You’ll kick off with a hearty breakfast before heading out for some high volume dove shooting. It’s considered a successful day when you shoot anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000 doves! After a solid morning of shooting, enjoy a lunch featuring fine Argentinian cuisine. In the afternoon, you can either continue with more dove shooting or switch gears to fish for Golden Dorado. Evenings are for relaxing in the lodge with a nice dinner and sharing stories with fellow hunters.

You’ll have experienced guides who know the area well. For dove shooting, you get a 1×1 Bird Boy, and for Golden Dorado fishing, it’s a 2×1 Fishing Guide. They’re there to help you make the most of your experience.

You’ll be staying in very nice lodges with double rooms and private bathrooms. The lodges offer exceptional dining featuring local game, Asado, and high-quality beverages. There’s a living room/lounge for relaxing and visiting with fellow hunters.

Dove season is year-round, but the prime time is from March to September. If you’re interested in waterfowl and perdiz hunting, aim for May through August. Golden Dorado fishing is also a year-round option.

Once you arrive in Buenos Aires, a host from your outfitter will welcome you and assist in your transfer to the lodge in Corriente. The transfer might be a six-hour drive to the ranch or a short charter flight. Note that these transfers are not included in the package price.

This area of Argentina is known for its large population of doves, offering great opportunities for high volume shooting. Bagging 1,000 to 3,000 doves in a day isn’t uncommon.

Yes, aside from dove shooting, you can enjoy perdiz hunting and Golden Dorado fishing.
