Greenland is one of the few countries that still has big chunks of untouched nature. To hunt up against the Ice Sheet on prehistoric muskox is an amazing experience.

Fall Hunts

Muskox with the option to add a caribou.

You will hunt by boat along the river, stopping along the way to glass. Once a good bull is located the stalk will start on foot.

  • There will be 4-6 hunters in the group.
  • The hunting package includes one muskox bull, regardless of size.
  • Caribou hunting is available if you’re interested in making your hunt a combo. The area is producing some very good trophies.
  • For those finished with their hunt there are fishing opportunities for Artic char in rivers and lakes and also cod in the sea.

Transportation

Fly into Sisimiut, via Copenhagen, then it takes about 2-3 hours by boat to the camp.

Accommodations

You’ll be staying in a tented camp or cabins depending on area you’re hunting. The meals will be made of local products arctic char, shrimps, muskox, reindeer etc.

Hunting Season

The Fall season spans from August 1 through the end of October.

Winter Hunts

The Winter/Spring Hunt is different than the Summer/Fall Hunt

This is mostly because they are allowed to use ATVs and Snowmobiles to get far into the hunting areas. That means that you can cover more ground, and see more animals – it is not a must to be in a good physical condition.

Muskox bulls group up in the winter, so it is easier to find bulls and it makes it easier to choose a very good one. An added bonus is that the hides are perfect, and you should see the incredible Northern Lights.

  • There will be 4-6 hunters in the group.
  • The hunting package includes one muskox bull, regardless of size.
  • Combine your Trophy hunting adventure with small game hunting for Arctic Fox, Ptarmigan and Arctic Hare.

Transportation

Flying into Kangerlussuaq, via Copenhagen, and it’s only about 15 minutes by car to the camp.

Accommodations

The warm cabin offers accommodation in small rooms, shared private facilities and a common area for dining and social gathering. The meals will be made of local products arctic char, shrimps, muskox, reindeer etc.

Hunting Season

The hunting season starts March 1 and runs to April 10th.

It’s just hard to explain how beautifully powerful and painful this landscape can be. 75 miles in this country so far and wouldn’t trade it for treadmill or paved trails any day of the week.

As we near the end of this year’s hunting adventure around the world we have crept closer to capturing my dreams by completing the world slam for Reindeer & Caribou. All of which I have taken with my .300 H&H. I have had lots of support along the way and made lifelong friends and memories on every trip. It is truly humbling to know that I have been able to put in the work to be successful and it always makes me feel inspired to push others to chase their dreams no matter what I may be. God is good and thank you everyone for your support and friendship. Till next year we grind on towards that dream!
