Spring DIY Black Bear Hunts
Starting in May, adventurous big game hunters can embark on a thrilling 6-day/5-night black bear hunting experience in the wilds of Alaska. These non-guided hunts are based out of Whittier, AK, and operate from a 98-foot pleasure craft that serves as both lodging and transport. Hunters will be provided with comfortable accommodations, hearty meals, and daily beach drop-offs for prime hunting locations of their choosing.
This unique experience also includes opportunities for halibut, rockfish, and shrimp fishing, adding an extra layer of excitement to the adventure. Each trip can accommodate up to 6 hunters and 6 non-hunters. Limiting the number of hunters is a deliberate effort to prioritize conservation and maintain a healthy bear population. Non-hunters are welcome to join the action, exploring the beaches and rugged mountains or participating in fishing excursions.
Fall Kodiak Blacktail Deer Hunts
For those seeking a fall adventure, Kodiak Island offers an unforgettable Sitka blacktail deer hunting experience. Beginning mid-to-late September, this non-guided hunting opportunity provides access to the island’s rugged and remote terrain, where trophy-class blacktail deer roam. The adventure is enhanced by the chance to hunt sea ducks and fish in Alaska’s pristine waters.
These trips can accommodate up to 10 guests, including any combination of hunters and non-hunters. Due to recent hunting regulation changes, non-resident hunters are limited to harvesting one deer per person in this area. The experience is designed to provide guests with maximum flexibility, allowing for whole-boat charters or bookings for smaller groups or individuals.
Guests enjoy the comforts of a first-class vessel, purpose-built to support hunting excursions in Alaska’s challenging environment. By chartering the entire boat, hunters gain priority access to preferred hunting dates, ensuring an exclusive and customized experience. From sea duck hunting to fishing, this trip offers a dynamic blend of activities for hunting enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
On either of these hunts, the vessel can be bookDed as an exclusive package for a group or reserved by individuals and smaller parties.
