Caribou Hunting on Alaska’s Seward Peninsula

This is a unique fly-in backcountry hunt where you can utilize Argos to cover country.

Embark on an unforgettable guided caribou hunting adventure in the rugged wilderness of Alaska’s Seward Peninsula. Your journey begins with a scenic 40-minute charter flight from Nome to a secluded base camp, where the real excitement starts. From there, you and your guide will venture out using 8-wheel Argos to reach various spike camps strategically located across the vast tundra, just below the Arctic Circle. These camps are designed to boost your chances of a successful hunt, offering access to prime caribou territory.

The outfitter’s Argos are equipped with enclosed cabs, providing shelter from Alaska’s unpredictable weather while navigating the terrain. When the time comes for the final stalk, you may need to cover distances ranging from a mile to just 100 yards, depending on the caribou’s location.

For those seeking an even greater challenge, grizzly bear hunting can be added to your trip for an additional trophy fee, making this Alaskan hunt a true adventure of a lifetime.
